Former Governor of New York George Pataki Receives One of the Highest Hungarian State Decorations

Hungarian President László Sólyom presented the Commander’s Cross with the Star of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary to George Elmer Pataki, former Governor of the State of New York in the Sándor Palace in Budapest, Hungary on Wednesday, November 12, as a recognition of his activities in promoting and improving Hungarian-American bilateral relations, and for his support of the Hungarian communities of the State of New York.
